2017 is here and I am looking forward to creating many project/events for the 150th Celebration of Canada's Birthday.

I will also continue my position as a set artist/sculptor for the film union.

2015 has already been proven to be a banner year with several international projects; sand sculpture in Dubai and Florida.

Dubai: I was invited by the european sand sculpture company 'SandArtist.Com' to help create the architectural 'Highlights of Dubai'. Under the direction of Dubai Tourism, our team of five international artists create one sculpture for each of the Emirates. With the Double Tree Hilton as our accommodation sponsor, we create this project on Al Marjan Island just outside of the main city of Dubai. At this time of year, October, temperatures are moderate at an average of 34o C which can be a challenge but not overbearing.

Florida USA, Siesta Key Classic sand Sculpture Event.

With a an over win in 2012 and 'Peoples Choice' in 2013, another event is ready to take place in November. With some of the finest sand and best beach atmosphere, this event rivals all beach events in the USA south.

Second event to follow in Florida is the 'Sand Lovers America Championship'. On location this year will be previous winners from an international roster creating fine sand sculpture art in a profession and precise manner. A competition to compliment Florida Tourism at its beast.

2014 was an amazing year with a variety of projects and adventures. If the two can be combined then the passion for creating is at its peak when it comes to enjoying life.

GMC Snow Sculpture on Whistler Mountain, BC, Canada; GMC is the official sponsor for the Whistler Ski Resort. For two years in a row, I have been commissioned to create 1:1 scale GMC vehicles right on the mountain. A wonderful project with a few challenges; getting all the equipment in place, the weather of course and then putting a team together to finish the sculptures on time. As a skier and alpine lover, this is the dream job for my winter artistic skills.Link to time lapse by Ryan -videographer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKkV5rNRQTQ

Parksville Open Classic Sand Sculpture Event , Parksville, BC, Canada

This is the most successful sand sculpture event in Western Canada!  An event that is 100% community supported with the main sponsor being Quality Foods. A competition with sand sculptors from all over the world takes place in mid July with over 20 entries.
